handmaded frame for pictures

Frames from wood slab… several years ago I set out to “put” some of my photographs into frames, but bad luck, in the city’s framing workshops, I didn’t like anything offered at all!!
Not far away, from some swamp, I had to take out the discarded garbage from the sawmill (larch slab)… dry it… plan it… highlight the texture… saw it… tint it.
The result is in this video. A unique natural profile/baguette for decorating artwork. All these cute chips, beloved burrs, rough bark, knots that have become so familiar and even just… crazy holes from them are unique!!!
I like these simple frames even more than all the photo panoramas!!!
I’ve already been offered a couple of times to open a workshop on making, but I’m holding out for now!!
